Ryan launched Oklahoma Memo in January 2025 after nearly eight years as Director of Digital Content at Griffin Media in Oklahoma City. With more than two decades in digital journalism, he created Oklahoma Memo to help Oklahomans stay informed without the noise. The project has since grown into a multimedia platform featuring a daily newsletter, podcast interviews with leaders across the state, and digital coverage of Oklahoma politics, business and culture.
